C5 ODHE Guideline: Chapter 30 or Chapter 33 Recipients (veterans receiving benefits under the “All Volunteer Force Educational Assistance Program” or “Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Program”)

C6 ODHE Guideline: Sergeant John David Frye Recipients (recipients of the “Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry” scholarship or recipient of transferred federal veterans’ benefits).

C7 ODHE Guideline: A person who is using federal veterans’ educational assistance under the “Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment,” or under “Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance.”

Because these are temporary classifications, residency re-certification will be required every semester after an initial approval.

The C5 Chapter 30 or Chapter 33 Veteran Affairs Benefit Recipients provision is for veterans receiving benefits under the “All Volunteer Force Educational Assistance Program” or “Post 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Program.”

The C6 provision is for recipients of the “Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry” scholarship or recipient of transferred federal veteran’s benefits.

The C7 provision is for a person who is using federal veterans’ educational assistance under the “Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment,” or under “Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance.”

Veteran’s Certificate of Eligibility (COE) issued by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Signed lease, rental agreement, or closing statement (given at closing during the purchasing of a home) establishing that the veteran (parent/legal guardian/spouse) and student, or student (veteran) is residing in Ohio by the first day of the term.
