Request Change to Graduate Status

This form is to be completed by the undergraduate student to request that their student status be changed from undergraduate to graduate. This status change has implications for financial aid and tuition costs. Students are encouraged to consult with the OneStop before requesting this change so that they are aware of the relevant financial implications.

Undergraduate students may request to have their student status changed from undergraduate to graduate status at any time after they have completed a minimum of 124 total graduate and undergraduate credit hours. In order to be approved, the student must have a GPA of 3.0 or better at the time the request is made.

[NOTE: Students completing a combined bachelor's and master's program must be classified as a graduate student during the final semester of their master's degree program.)
